Bible Bingo: A Comedy with God, Games,
& Goofy Prizes

Direct from Chicago

Written by Vicki Quade, one of the creators of the international hit comedy, Late Nite Catechism.

Bingo. Laughter. Goofy Prizes. And a bit of the Bible!

Bible Bingo is a comedy about the Catholic culture of fundraising and bingo, featuring the character, Mrs. Mary Margaret O'Brien, a former nun who now heads a fictitious archdiocese fundraising department.

The Chicago Stage Standard calls the show, “A fresh new twist on bingo.” New City Chicago raves, “the show is filled with Catholic humor.”

In this interactive comedy, the parish needs money and Mrs. O’Brien is ready to help! Bring the two together and you have a night of bible trivia, audience interaction, improvised moments, and the funniest quiz about the Holy Family you’ve ever seen.

Add to that a box of wacky prizes, fun bingo cards, and a lot of Catholic humor. In this interactive bingo show, you’ll actually play bingo, and still learn a little something about what it means to be Catholic! The show gets the audience talking about everything from Adam & Eve to modern sins.

You’ll be laughing so hard, you’ll have to be careful watching your bingo cards!

“Bible Bingo is a really good show,” says Theatre by Numbers.  “A number of people get together to have some munchies and drinks.  They play a few rounds of Bingo while they laugh, sing, chat, and goof around.  It is a beautiful thing.”

Go ahead…. resurrect your social life in this guaranteed night of divine entertainment!
More fun than Sodom and Gomorrah!!
So much fun, you’ll have to confess it!!!

Goldstar Reviews for Christmas Bingo

Royal George Theatre in Chicago: “I am a lapsed Catholic and my friend Barbara was raised Evangelical Protestant. We both LOVED this show. It’s warm and funny as it gently pokes fun at the traditions of Catholicism as well as some of the contradictions of the Bible. The show is highly interactive and I would estimate that about 90% of the audience took part by winning Bingo and coming onstage for a prize, answering questions, assisting the Bingo caller and ad-libbing comments. Vicki Quade, who wrote the show and performs it, has the laid-back charm of a fok singer and in her easy-going way, called to mind such legendary Chicago performers as Jim Post and Corky Siegel. This is a show for the whole family and can be enjoyed even by heretic Protestants.”

One of the best shows I have seen.

I took my 2 granddaughters aged 23 and 21. They did not expect how much fun we had with our audience mates and were delighted in our parts in the show. Mrs. O'Brien was wonderful as the Bingo caller, and I was reminded of the times of my Catholic education in her style and connection with us. Great clean comedy, a rarity in these times.

With a group of teen thru 40s, skeptics were quickly won over to the fun. We all laughed and had great deal that you'll remember. Unique fun.

We had a great evening, the play was very funny, the crowd participation was hysterical. One of our girlfriends made her stage debut assisting the lead actor who was amazing, kept the crowd engaged with a very quick wit. Such a fun evening, want to laugh out loud, take a friend and see this play. Awesome!!!!

The performance was entertaining and fun. Many members of the audience were seasoned participators in Vicki Quade's interactive performance style and enthusiastically joined in the fun ad-libbing with her. The prizes were great. Such nostalgic memories of Christmas in the 50's, 60's and 70's. Even the smaller children seemed to delight in the bingo bantering.

It was a cute experience. The bingo was cute. The setting was in a classroom type of room, from back in the late 60's and early 70's. Anyone who went to catholic grade school in the era will appreciate it.

Took the whole family for my wife's birthday. We all loved it! My 13-year old son even won one of the bingo games - he said he really enjoyed it.

Christmas Bingo was very entertaining, funny, and interactive with the audience. Suitable for ages 10-80 and there was that diverse an age group at the performance I attended. I highly recommend this show.

My daughter was very hesitant to go, and being a teen not very pleasant... However, after we got there, she had a wonderful time. It was fun, fast pace, and a great memory. I have told many others how much they would like it. Thank you.
