Kimberley Faye Greenberg is well known in the USA for her renditions of Fanny Brice material and she has made quite a career out of it. Therefore it is no surprise that she should eventually release an album of music that is associated with the great American comedienne. This album is the cast recording of her one-woman show Fabulous Fanny: The Songs & Stories of Fanny Brice.

This album includes tracks such as ‘Second Hand Rose’, ‘I Was a Floradora Baby’, ‘I’d Rather Be Blue’, ‘My Man’ and ‘Rose of Washington Square’, as well as ‘People’ and ‘Don’t Rain On My Parade’. This is interspersed with dialogue telling the story of Brice’s life. There are also two bonus tracks from the musical Ghostlight in which Greenberg plays the legendary entertainer.
